Order Policy

Shipping & Returns Policy

This policy explains dispatch, freight, delivery inspection, manufacturing-defect claims and returns for orders supplied by Kalhar Enterprises.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Policy summary: Freight is charged extra according to destination. Dispatch timing depends on the order and is confirmed in the written quotation. Returns are accepted only for confirmed manufacturing defects or an incorrect supply attributable to Kalhar Enterprises. Approved customized products are otherwise non-returnable.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to products supplied by Kalhar Enterprises following a quotation, purchase order, order confirmation or invoice. Specific written shipping or return terms included in an accepted quotation take priority where they differ from this general policy.

The website is primarily a B2B quotation website and does not provide an automatic retail checkout or universal delivery commitment.

2. Shipping Coverage

We accept:

  • Pan-India enquiries, subject to serviceability, carrier availability and agreed freight; and
  • export enquiries, subject to destination, documentation, regulatory, carrier and commercial review.

We may decline or revise delivery arrangements where a destination is not serviceable or requires special handling not included in the original quotation.

3. Order Processing and Dispatch

Processing begins after all applicable requirements are completed:

  • the quotation and product specifications are accepted;
  • 100% advance payment has cleared, unless different written terms apply;
  • custom sizes, construction details or artwork are approved;
  • delivery address and buyer contact information are confirmed; and
  • any technical information required for safe product selection has been supplied.

Dispatch time depends on product availability, quantity, customization, production schedule, packing and destination. The applicable estimate will be provided in the quotation or order confirmation.

4. Freight, Packing and Other Charges

Unless expressly included in writing:

  • freight is charged extra;
  • freight is calculated according to destination, carrier, weight, volume and shipment type;
  • GST is charged at the applicable rate;
  • special packing, insurance, unloading, installation and local handling are extra; and
  • export duties, customs charges, destination taxes and clearance costs are payable as stated in the quotation.

Any freight amount provided before final packing may be an estimate and can be adjusted if shipment dimensions, destination or carrier charges change before acceptance.

5. Delivery Address and Buyer Availability

The buyer must provide an accurate legal/business name, complete delivery address, PIN code, contact person and working telephone number. Any special site-entry, timing, unloading, vehicle or documentation requirement must be disclosed before dispatch.

Additional freight, storage, re-delivery or return-to-origin charges caused by an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, refused delivery or undisclosed site restriction may be charged to the buyer.

6. Dispatch and Delivery Estimates

Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Transit time begins after handover to the carrier and can vary because of distance, route, weather, public holidays, strikes, government restrictions, carrier operations and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will provide available tracking or transporter details where applicable. A carrier status marked “delivered” may be used as evidence of delivery, subject to a promptly reported and reasonably supported dispute.

7. Inspection When the Shipment Arrives

The recipient should:

  1. count the packages and compare them with the delivery document;
  2. check for torn, crushed, wet, opened or visibly damaged packaging;
  3. record visible damage or shortage on the transporter’s proof of delivery before signing, where possible;
  4. take clear photographs or an unedited unpacking video; and
  5. retain the outer packaging, labels, invoice and affected goods until the claim is reviewed.
!

Do not install, alter, print, wash, use or dispose of an affected product before contacting us where that action could prevent inspection or verification.

8. Transit Damage, Shortage or Wrong Supply

Report visible transit damage, shortage or an incorrect item as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and within any reporting period stated in the quotation, invoice or transport document.

Your message should include the order or invoice number, delivery date, affected quantity, description of the issue, photographs of the packaging and product, and any notation made on the proof of delivery. We will review the available evidence and, where applicable, coordinate with the carrier.

Responsibility for loss or damage in transit and any insurance claim will be handled according to the accepted quotation, shipment arrangement and carrier terms.

9. When a Return or Remedy May Be Eligible

A return or other remedy may be considered when:

  • a manufacturing defect is confirmed after review;
  • the supplied product materially differs from the accepted written specification;
  • the wrong product or quantity was supplied due to an error attributable to Kalhar Enterprises; or
  • a remedy is otherwise required by applicable law.

An issue is not automatically confirmed merely because a claim is submitted. We may request photographs, video, measurements, samples, inspection or return of the affected goods.

10. Non-Returnable Products and Situations

Except for a confirmed manufacturing defect, an error attributable to Kalhar Enterprises or a mandatory legal right, we do not accept returns for:

  • custom sizes, special construction or made-to-order products;
  • printed, branded, personalized or artwork-approved products;
  • goods that have been used, installed, altered, washed, contaminated, damaged or improperly stored after delivery;
  • opened goods that cannot safely or commercially be resold;
  • normal colour, weight or dimensional variation within the approved or stated tolerance;
  • a buyer’s change of mind, excess ordering or incorrect product selection;
  • compatibility issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate or withheld chemical, SDS, site or application information; or
  • damage caused by incorrect handling, storage, assembly, installation or use.

Send requests to sales@kalharenterprise.in or WhatsApp +91 91732 00211.

12. Review, Return Freight and Remedy

After receiving sufficient information, we may:

  • approve photographic or remote review;
  • request inspection or a sample;
  • authorize return of some or all affected goods; or
  • reject the claim with reasons where the policy conditions are not met.

If a manufacturing defect or incorrect supply attributable to Kalhar Enterprises is confirmed, the appropriate remedy may include replacement, correction, repair, credit or refund, as agreed and as required by applicable law. Approved return-freight responsibility and collection instructions will be confirmed in writing before shipment.

Any refund approved will normally be made through an appropriate traceable method after inspection and adjustment of any lawfully deductible amount. Bank and processing timelines can vary.

13. Order Cancellation

A cancellation request must be submitted in writing. Acceptance depends on whether payment, procurement, production, printing, packing or dispatch has started.

Customized, printed, special-size or made-to-order products cannot normally be cancelled after specifications, artwork or production are approved. If cancellation is accepted, actual costs already incurred may be deducted to the extent stated and permitted in the applicable order terms or by law.

14. Export Shipments

Export availability is reviewed case by case. The buyer must provide the destination, consignee details, required documents, applicable standards and import requirements before quotation acceptance.

Incoterms, freight mode, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, documentation, risk allocation and delivery point must be stated in the export quotation. The buyer is responsible for destination-country permits and import compliance unless expressly agreed otherwise.
